AREWA COHESION KADUNA STATE CHAPTER CALLS FOR SUSTAINABLE PEACE
The Arewa Cohesion Kaduna State Chapter has urged the people of Kaduna State to remain steadfast in safeguarding the peace and unity currently being enjoyed across the state.
In a statement signed by its State Coordinator, Mallam Hayatuddeen Lawal Makarfi, the forum reminded citizens that the prevailing atmosphere of peace is the product of decades of sacrifice and collective effort.
“We must not allow politics to destroy the hard-earned peace and harmony that we all labored for,” Mallam Makarfi emphasized. “It is our collective responsibility to protect this peace for the sake of our children and the future of Kaduna State.”
The Coordinator particularly appealed to the youth to embrace unity, stressing that a brighter future filled with opportunities can only be achieved through togetherness. He further noted that peace is the foundation upon which education, business, governance, and every other sector thrives.
Calling on politicians across party lines, Mallam Makarfi advised leaders to act responsibly and refrain from actions that could destabilize the polity or create division.
“Politicians should remember that without peace there will be no elections, nor power to govern,” he added.
The Arewa Cohesion Kaduna State Chapter reaffirmed its commitment to working with all stakeholders, including traditional rulers, religious leaders, and community-based organizations, to ensure that the peace in Kaduna State remains sustainable and unshaken.
